About this video

Jan Lisiecki, a fifteen-year-old Canadian classical pianist, talks about his life in the music industry and comments on how he came to be known as the “reluctant prodigy.” He also answers some questions regarding his thoughts about the near future and discusses the importance of maintaining a balanced life in studies and furthering his musical career. Finally, Lisiecki comments on the essay about democracy he wrote and for which he received an award some years ago.
