Consultant and designer of processes that increase leader effectiveness in educational institutions and corporations in both private and public sectors. She is an expert in experimental problem-solving methods, executive coaching, change management, organizational and leadership development, training and mentoring programs form leaders, employees, students, faculty and others. Merkel currently serves as an officer on the Board of Directors of Sao Paulo Education Foundation and is working with Universidad Francisco Marroquín in several projects.
