Stanley F. Malamed is professor of Medicine and Anesthesia in the Southern California School of Dentistry. He graduated from the New York University College of Dentistry and then completed a dental internship and residency in anesthesiology at Montefiore Hospital and Medical Center in the Bronx, New York. He has written various papers such as the Handbook of Medical Emergencies in the Dental Office and Handbook of Local Anesthesia and Sedation – a guide to patient management. He is also author of the interactive DVDs: Emergency Medicine and Malamed’s Local Anesthetic Technique DVD.
