Steven Ehrlich is the design principal of Ehrlich Architects. He is widely known for his culturally and environmentally sensitive use of technology. His diverse projects include a biotech research laboratory in Cambridge, Massachusetts; an art center at Orange Coast College; and the Kinross Staging Building at UCLA. Ehrlich is a fellow of the American Institute of Architects and the Royal Institute of British Architects. In 2003 his firm was named California Firm of the Year by the AIA California Council and in 1997 he received three AIA National Honor Awards. He holds a BS and a BArch from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
