In this fourth video of a four-part seminar, Craig Biddle shows that, whereas egoism (the morality of self-interest) underlies and gives rise to the principle of individual rights, altruism (the morality of self-sacrifice) undermines and contradicts the principle of rights. Mr. Biddle then closes the seminar with a discussion of the difference between objective rights and “natural” or “intrinsic” rights.
