Money, Central Banking, and Monetary Policy in the Global Financial Arena

New Media  | 25 de febrero de 2010  | Vistas: 31

In the wake of a worldwide economic crisis, issues such as money, central banking, and monetary policy have become important topics of discussion. Jerry L. Jordan explores these three subjects and shares his thoughts on the definition of money, which has often been misused.  He concurs with the ideas of Ludwig von Mises, who believed that the terms inflation and deflation were very often misunderstood. Jordan explains the advantages of virtuous deflation and also takes a look at interest rates.
