Why Evolution is True: Interview with Jerry Coyne

New Media  | 15 de octubre de 2009  | Vistas: 35

About this video

The theory of evolution has been on the minds of many scientists for more than two hundred years, since Darwin first presented his work on the subject. In this video, Jerry Coyne explains that the enormous amount of evidence that exists clearly indicates the theory is correct. The most common opposition generally takes the form of skepticism and denial. According to Coyne, people either don't want to believe it or they have strong religious feelings against it. Finally, he discusses the importance human rationality and how in many ways human behavior is similar to that of animals.
