Muhammad Yunus
Muhammad Yunus is a Bangladeshi banker and economist who is famous for his success in the application of microcredit (extension of small loans) in his country. Yunus is the founder of Grameen Bank and in 2006, he and the bank were awarded the Nobel Peace Price. Yunus holds a PhD in economics from Vanderbilt University.
