Walter Williams

Walter Williams has been John M. Olin Distinguished Professor of Economics at George Mason University since 1980. He has served at the faculties of economics of Los Angeles City College; California State University, Los Angeles; Temple University in Philadelphia and Grove City College. He is author of various publications that have appeared in Economic Inquiry, American Economic Review, among others. He is also author of six books, including America: A Minority Viewpoint and The State Against Blacks. Williams holds a BA in economics from California State University, Los Angeles, a MA and PhD in economics from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He is also Doctor of Humane Letters from Virgina Union University and Grove City College, Doctor of Laws from Washinton and Jefferson College and Doctor honoris causa in Social Sciences from Universidad Francisco Marroquín, Guatemala.
