Barbu Gociman is plastic surgeon at the University of Utah Medical Center. Previously, he was investigator at the Department of Human Genetics of the University of Utah and at the Institute of Oncology Bucharest. He has experience in molecular biology, cell biology and biochemistry and in vivo animal studies. Gociman is member of The Gold Humanism Honor Society, American College of Surgeons and the American Medical Association, he holds an MD from the Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy (Universitatea de Medicină şi Farmacie “Carol Davila”, Bucureşti), Romania and a PhD from the University of Utah, United States
