Benedict S. Maniscalco is a specialist in cardiovascular disease. He is chairman and CEO of Heartbeat International Foundation, Inc. and founder of St. Joseph’s Hospital Heart Institute in Tampa, Florida. He is a member of the American Medical Association, American Heart Association and fellow of the American College of Cardiology, American College of Physicians, and others. Dr. Maniscalco holds a MD from Duke University and a BS from University of Florida. He did his postgraduate training in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease at Emory University affiliated hospitals.
