Carolyn C. Medina

Carolyn C. Medina is a professional librarian responsible for the Medical and Research Library of the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) in Austin, Texas. She holds a MLIS and a MA from the University of Texas at Austin and a BA from Wheaton College. Her experience in the library field include positions in the Nutrition Educational and Training Library (NET) of the Department of Human Services in Austin, and the National Treasury Employees Union in Washington, DC. Medina is a member of the State Agency Librarians of Texas (SALT) and is author of several articles published in the Texas Public Health Journal, including “No New Thing under the Sun,” “Resources on Alzheimer’s Disease,” and many others.
