
Christa Walters
President, Movimiento Cívico Nacional
Is a political scientist and currently serves as President of Movimiento Cívico Nacional (MCN), a civic organization focused on promoting democratic governance and republican values in Guatemala. She has worked as associate and assistant professor at the Instituto de Estudios Políticos y Relaciones Internacionales (EPRI) at Universidad Francisco Marroquín. In addition to her academic work, she has participated as a speaker in conferences and interviews on topics related to politics and public affairs.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government from Universidad Francisco Marroquín. Her academic training is grounded in the field of political theory and civic engagement. She regularly writes opinion columns for Prensa Libre and for Instituto Fe y Libertad, a Guatemalan research center.
