Cristopher Lingle

Economist and visiting professor

Cristopher earned a doctorate in economics from the University of Georgia in 1977. He has worked for universities around the world and currently, he’s visiting a professor of economics in the Escuela de Negocios at UFM (since 1998). Scholar at the Centre for Independent Studies (Sydney), Research Scholar at the Centre for Civil Society (New Delhi), Political economic advisor for the Asian Institute for Diplomacy and International Affairs (AIDIA).
 
Lingle is interested in research in the areas of political economy and international economics. He’s a writer of the book Singapore’s Authoritarian Capitalism: Asian Values, Free Market Illusions and Political Dependency (1996).
