Daniel J. D’Amico
Director, Stephenson Institute for Classical Liberalism
Associated faculty member at Wabash College and the inaugural director of the Stephenson Institute. Daniel was previously Associate Director of The Political Theory Project and Lecturer in Economics at Brown University. He is currently a co-editor of the Advances in Austrian Economics. He has worked in fields such as Politics, Philosophy and Economics and is a co-founder of the Carl Menger Essay Contest, sponsored by the Foundation for Economic Education.
He has received several awards and recognitions due to his work in his different areas of specialization related to personal responsibility, individual rights, freedom of speech, and the essential role of liberty in a free society. Some of these awards are the Gordon Tullock Prize and the Israel M. Kirzner Award. Moreover, Daniel’s work has been published in numerous scholarly outlets including the Journal of Comparative Economics and Journal of Economic Behavior & Organizations.
