J. R. Clark is the secretary/treasurer of the Association for Private Enterprise Education (APEE) and the Southern Economic Association. He holds the Scott L. Probasco Chair of Free Enterprise at University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Clark is a specialist in the fields of public choice, public finance, and managerial economics. He earned his PhD and MA in economics from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and his BS in economics from Virginia Commonwealth University.
