Jan Lisiecki is a young classic pianist. He has been studying piano since the age of five at the Mount Royal University Conservatory, Canada. He has performed in various stages in Canada and internationally, including the National Arts Centre Orchestra, Canada; Minnesota Orchestra, United States; Sinfonietta Cracovia, Poland, among others. Lisiecki has also won various Canadian music titles, like the Grand Prize at the OSM Standard Life Competition (2009). He came to Guatemala to offer a concert at Organización para las Artes – Universidad Francisco Marroquín, to celebrate the bicentennial of the birth of Fryderyk Chopin.
