Marc Eliot
Writer and American biographer
He is a Times bestselling author with more than a dozen books on popular culture. Marc obtained a Ph.D. from Columbia University, New York. He also has written on media and popular culture for Penthouse, L.A. Weekly, and California Magazine. He is a visiting professor in the School of Film and Visual Arts at Universidad Francisco Marroquín.
Some of his books are Death of a Rebel: A Biography of Phil Ochs (1979), Rockonomics: The Money behind the Music (1989), the award-winning Walt Disney: Hollywood’s Dark Prince (1993), To the Limit: The Untold Story of the Eagles (1997), Take it from me: Life’s a struggle but you can win (2001), American Rebel: The Life of Clint Eastwood (2009) among others.
