Mónica is a political scientist, she earned a PhD in Political Science from the UC San Diego School of Global Policy and Strategy. She is currently an associate professor in the Department of Design at Universidad de los Andes, applying design thinking to solve public problems with her students and colleagues. She believes the classroom should be a life-changing experience in which, hopefully, energy and passion are invested to make ideas come to life.
