Richard T. T. Forman

Richard T. T. Forman is the PAES Professor of Landscape Ecology at Harvard University. He teaches ecological courses in the Graduate School of Design and in Harvard College. Previously, he taught at Rutgers University and University of Wisconsin. His academic interests include linking science with spatial pattern, changing land mosaics, conservation and land use planning, and built-and-greenspace urban forms. He is the author of numerous articles and books, including Landscape Ecology, Land Mosaics, Road Ecology, and Urban Regions: Ecology and Planning Beyond the City. Forman holds a PhD from University of Pennsylvania and a BS from Haverford College.
