About this video

Craig Dykers talks about the architectural projects of Snøhetta, an important architectural firm with offices in Oslo, Norway and New York. Snøhetta uses a variety of architectural designs: from prismatic to curvilinear styles, and its projects are adapted to fit local circumstances.  Among its most notable projects are the Scandinavian embassy in Berlin, JWR Turner Museum in England, and the Ground Zero Memorial building in New York.  Snøhetta's trademark architectural buildings are the Library of Alexandria in Egypt and the Norwegian National Opera in Oslo, Norway.  Both projects have been highly acclaimed for their fusion of architectural styles and for bringing people closer to architecture.
