Normal Aging and Alzheimer’s Disease

Patricio Reyes is the director of the Alzheimer's Disease and Cognitive Disorders Program, and holds the Karsten Solheim Dementia Research Chair, at the Barrow Neurological Institute of St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix. He was also chief resident at the University of Kentucky Medical Center and Veteran Affairs. Dr. Reyes visited Universidad Francisco Marroquín in February 2009 at the invitation of the School of Medicine to present a series of lectures on Alzheimer's disease. Two of these conferences were open to the public. Dr. Reyes also gave lectures to UFM medical students, caregivers of dementia patients, and the Alzheimer's Association of Guatemala.
