2016 – Chet Thomas: Ordinary Citizens Needed: We´re Starting a War for our Children

He spent over a year going undercover in the underbelly of the child sex slave trade to document and shine a light on the problem. Chet Thomas shares his experiences and talks about what ordinary citizens can do to put an end to the unacceptable pandemic of nearly 2 million children being exploited for sex in the world.

Chet is a film producer and director. He made his debut as a director with the documentary, The Abolitionists. He was the producer of the film Take and is one of the producers on the film The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. He worked at DreamWorks for several years, where he was initially part of the story department when Amistad, Deep Impact, and Saving Private Ryan were produced and then moved into feature development wherein he was part of the development team on such films as Meet the Parents, Mouse Hunt, Small Soldiers, Road to Perdition, among other films.

Es productor y director de cine. Debutó como director al dirigir el documental The Abolitionists y es productor de las películas TAKE y The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. Trabajó en DreamWorks por varios años, donde colaboró en el departamento de historias para los proyectos Amistad, Deep Impact y Saving Private Ryan. Luego formó parte del equipo de largometrajes, en donde participó activamente en las películas Meet the Parents, Mouse Hunt, Road to Perdition, Small Soldiers, entre otros.
