In this interview, hosted by Giancarlo Ibárgüen, Kurt Leube talks about the importance of learning economics in any career. He comments on the humanistic side of economics and describes the importance of human actions and its motivations within economy. He also shows how the Austrian economics are influencing European and North American colleges and refers to the bright future of this stream. Leube shares his thoughts on Ludwig von Mises’ work and his best book: Socialism; he also talks about Hayek’s legacy to the world. Finally, he mentions the discovery of the correspondence between Mises and Hayek where they commented about important movements that were being developed in Guatemala.
