Ladies for Liberty: Women Who Made a Difference in American History

New Media  | 22 de marzo de 2012  | Vistas: 34

John Blundell talks about his most recent book, Ladies for Liberty: Women Who Made a Difference in American History, on which he provides a vivid description of leading American women who stood out because of their strength, principles, and passion for liberty. The idea to write this book began after giving a lecture, where he realized that only few of the women he had mentioned were acknowledged by his audience; the selection was a range of stories of women, who through centuries, have played a social and politic role in the movement for liberty and women’s rights. Blundell ends the interview suggesting a related inspiring material for readers to follow up.
