Randy T. Simmons

Randy T. Simmons is the Charles G. Koch Professor of Political Economy at the Economics and Finance Department of Utah State University. He is also senior fellow at the Property and Environment Research Center (PERC) in Bozeman, Montana and mayor of Providence, Utah. His areas of interest include free-market environmentalism, property rights, and wildlife. He is coauthor of the book Beyond Politics: Politics, Market, and the Failure of Bureaucracy. Simmons has a PhD in political science from University of Oregon.
