Gerald O´Driscoll

Honorary doctorate in social sciences

Economist, expert on international monetary and financial issues. He is currently a senior fellow at the Cato Institute. Previously was the director of the Center for International Trade and Economics of the Heritage Foundation and editor of the Index of Economic Freedom. 

O’Driscoll has also been vice president and economic adviser to the Federal Reserve of Dallas, vice president and director of public policy analysis at Citigroup, and director of the Meltzer Commission‘s work team. 

He is a renowned academic for his teaching of economic principles in several North American universities, his presidency of the Association of Private Enterprise Education and the authorship of several books.
