Anaïse Kanimba

Senior Associate, Ridgely Walsh LLC

Anaïse Kanimba is a Senior Associate at Ridgely Walsh LLC. She has worked in global development and human rights advocacy, with experience in Africa, Europe, and North America. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology of Global Health with a minor in African Studies from Georgetown University.

From 2020 to 2023, she was the Lead Campaign Manager for the Free Rusesabagina Campaign, where she coordinated legal teams, government officials, and advocacy efforts across multiple continents.

Previously, she worked as a Digital Solutions Senior Associate at Palladium, supporting digital health projects in Zimbabwe, Eswatini, and Mozambique. She was also a Project Associate at Management Sciences for Health, contributing to grant management initiatives for health system strengthening.

Anaïse has written about wrongful detention, transnational repression, and human rights for publications such as The Washington Post, The Daily Beast, and CNN. She has also worked on international development projects funded by USAID and the International Finance Corporation.
