Author of Economics in Our Time, in (co authorship with R. McNown) Taxation and the Deficit Economy (ed.), Regulating Government (with R. McKenzie) y Failure and Progress (with R. McKenzie). The large work of professor Lee – 164 articles in academic magazines, 293 articles and comments in journals and other publications, dozens of chapters, reviews- revolves around a liberal perspective on the environment, natural resources, and choice and public finances.
He has taught at University of California, Virginia Tech University, George Mason University, and the University of Georgia where he was Ramsey Professor of Economics and Private Enterprise, from 1985 to 2008. Lee is affiliated with the O’Neil Center for Global Markets and Freedom Senior Fellow
Dwight obtained a doctorate at the University of California in 1972. His immense knowledge of the markets made him worthy to be president of the Association of Private Enterprise Education from 1994 to 1995 and of the Southern Economic Association from 1997 to 1998.
