J. D. Gordon is senior fellow at Center for Security Policy (CSP). He is former Defense Department spokesman for the western hemisphere in the office of the secretary of Defense, and a retired Navy Commander. Gordon holds a BA in Communications from Pennsylvania State University, a MA in Diplomacy from Norwich University, and a certificate from the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School. He is also a graduate of the U.S. Air Force’s Air Command and Staff College.
