Mitchell Joachim
Mitchell Joachim is partner at Terreform 1, an organization that integrates ecological principles in the urban environment. He is also on the faculty at the Columbia University GSAPP. Previously, he worked at Gehry Partners, Michael Sorkin Studio, and Pei Cobb Freed & Partners. He has been awarded the Moshe Safdie and Association Research Fellowship, the Martin Family Society Fellow for Sustainability at MIT, the History Channel and Infiniti Design Excellence Award, and Time Magazine’s Best Invention of the Year 2007. Joachim has a PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), MAUD from Harvard University, and M.Arch from Columbia University.
