He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Design, with High Honors, from the University of California. His work engages and enriches communities from Denver to Antarctica, with the focus on mixed-use to higher education and cultural centers. Rick is an active student mentor, teacher and juror. He is a member of several design review boards and is a long-term leader of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
