Jonathan Stolk

Jonathan Stolk is professor of mechanical engineering and materials science at Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering, where he offers project-based experiences in science, engineering, design, and interdisciplinary areas. He is currently engaged in several NSF-funded educational studies: a multi-institutional collaborative investigation of the role of faculty in supporting students’ growth as lifelong learners, an investigation of the effects of disciplinary integration and autonomy on students. Stolk holds MS and PhD degrees in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington.
