The academic chapter in life is essential to the preparation of anyone who will enter the real world and therefore needs to know all its resources. Belinda Boon talks about conducting bibliographic research, one important aspect to be successful in the academic field. She comments on information literacy that is the ability to locate, evaluate and use information effectively; she also talks about the problems that it is currently facing such as information overload and lack of reliable Internet resources. She describes the five standards to have a competent higher education and the methods that should be used in assigning group work. Boon lists the six rules in research process, which include task definition and strategies in seeking information; she also analyzes the main goal of a library and information programs.
