He is a professor of economics and director of the Environmental Economics Research Hub at the Australian National University. He’s been involved for over 30 years in several research projects about environmental management issues in Australia and around the world consulting and teaching in the fields of Natural Resources Economics, Agricultural Economics and Applied Economics. Bennett is a distinguished fellow of the Australian Agricultural and Resource Economics Society and has numerous publications regarding these topics in many journals and magazines.
