Chris Bosse
German architect, co-founder and director of LAVA, the Laboratory for Visual Architecture based in Sydney, with offices in Sydney, Stuttgart and Abu Dhabi. He was a key designer of the Beijing National Aquatics Centre that was built for the 2008 Summer Olympics. In all of his projects, LAVA combines digital workflow, local solutions and the latest digital fabrication technologies, with the inspiration of the structures of nature. Bosse is also professor and Research Innovation Fellow at the University of Technology Sydney. In 2012, he was awarded the ’40 Under 40′ award, recognising rising design stars under the age of 40.
