Mois Navon
Founder, Mobileye
Mois Navon is an accomplished engineer and one of the founding members of Mobileye, where he played a key role in designing the EyeQ family of System on a Chip (SoC), the essential technology driving the autonomous vehicle revolution. Navon is the author of multiple hardware patents in image processing and computing, highlighting his important contributions to the field. Before joining Mobileye, he held engineering positions at leading organizations such as IBM and NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), as well as several Israeli start-ups.
In addition to his engineering background, Navon is an ordained rabbi, widely recognized as the Rabbi of Mobileye. He has published numerous articles on Jewish law and philosophy and is a respected lecturer on topics related to Jewish thought, ethics, and spirituality.
Currently, Navon is pursuing a PhD in Jewish Philosophy at Bar Ilan University. His research focuses on applying Jewish philosophical principles to address ethical questions arising from advancements in artificial intelligence, merging his technological expertise with thoughtful ethical inquiry. His interdisciplinary background positions him as a prominent figure at the intersection of technology and ethics.
