The Daniel Kahneman Collegiate Professor in the School of Information at the University of Michigan. Holds a position at the U-M Institute for social research, is the Associate Director of the Smith Experimental Economics Research Center at Shanghai Jiaotong University and a Distinguished Visiting Professor in the School of Economics and Management at Tsinghua University. Her investigations are focused on behavioral and experimental economics, market and mechanism design, and public economics. She conducts both theoretical and experimental research. Chan has been a leader and plays an important role in developing the experimental community.
