Juan Batiz-Benet is a computer scientist from Stanford University. He is the founder of Athena, a technology startup that, through a learning platform, maps all human knowledge and connects concepts to their explanations. He is a former advisor to tech startups at StartX, an educational non-profit that accelerates the development of Stanford’s top entrepreneurs through experiential education and collective intelligence. Juan is also co-founder and former Chief Technology Officer of Loki Studios (acquired by Yahoo), a startup with the vision of innovating upon and furthering the use of digital devices in our everyday lives. Batiz-Benet loves teaching and is driven to share understanding.
