Charles Murray is the W. H. Brady Scholar of the American Enterprise Institute (AEI) and author of the books The Bell Curve and Real Education. In this interview, hosted by Carlisle Johnson, he talks about his educational background at Harvard University, his definition of a libertarian, and the ideas presented in his books. He also explains what he considers to be some of the deficiencies of the American education system: excessive numbers of people going to college and limitations for academically gifted students. Dr. Murray proposes an education system inspired by libertarian ideals in which everyone is responsible for their own actions.
