In this conference organized by the School of Film and Visual Arts at Universidad Francisco Marroquín, the American writer and biographer Marc Eliot presents the film "Some Like It Hot", released in 1959, as one of his ten favorite films of all time.

Eliot describes the film as a witty satire that explores how men see women and how women see men, which is done through the disguise of two unemployed musicians who pretend to be women in order to join a female band.

It's that brilliantly directed and that brilliantly produced”. - Marc Eliot

Marc mentions that the film's starring actors such as Tony Curtis, Jack Lemmon and Marilyn Monroe, highlighting Monroe's performance as one of the best roles of her career. Additionally, the writer mentions that the film has some very funny moments and some interesting ideas about relationships between men and women that, according to him, deserve further discussion.

It is just write tone perfect, not just with the line deliveries but those faces, those reactions.” - Marc Eliot

Finally Marc Eliot closes the forum by highlighting the roles played by different actors along with funny reactions and closing with the iconic quote from the film: "Nobody's perfect".
