Anastasia Lin’s Fight Against China’s Human Rights Abuses

Anastasia Lin, former beauty pageant competitor and human rights advocate in China, was part of 2017’s College Freedom Forum at UFM, where she talked about her inspiring journey. In this interview, she shares more details about the current situation of organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners in China.

She explains the Falun Gong, an ancient meditation practice, that in the past decades has become very popular, which concerns the chinese communists because it has an spiritual side that represents an ideological challenge so therefore they repress it.

Anastasia answers what is the one thing she would change in the world to make it better and talks about how the abuses to human rights affect human liberty in which she describes the importance of freedom of conscience as a key element of liberty. Finally discusses how people can get involved in the fight against this crimes.
