Mary Anastasia O’Grady’s Speech during the Ceremony for Honor Graduates (May 2015)

New Media  | 08 de mayo de 2015  | Vistas: 33

Mary Anastasia O'Grady starts her speech by greeting and congratulating the honor graduates and guests. She tells how she met Dr. Manuel F. Ayau; what she admires from him and how she became her apprentice for his love for liberty. She speaks about the importance of making even the small things correctly every day. After that she proceeds to give three observations about life that she considers important. The first one is that failure can be an even greater teacher in life than success, because few people learn from success. The second observation reminds the graduates the importance of the virtue of humility to persevere in life. She finishes advising to be generous in life at every aspect they can; with knowledge, wisdom and patience.
