He is an architect and founder of Andrea Maffei Architects in Italy. Maffei was associate director for the projects by Arata Isozaki. Some of his most famous projects are the New exit for the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, which won first place in an international design competition. He is the co-designer with Isokai of the New Town Library in Maranello and the tallest skyscraper in Italy: CityLife.
