Jerry L. Jordan
Jerry L. Jordan is an economist, president of the Pacific Academy for Advanced Studies and member of the board of trustees of the Foundation for Research in Economics and Education. He was president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland from 1992 to 2003. He previously served as senior vice president and director of research at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. He was also vice president of the National Association of Business Economists and a member of President Ronald Reagan’s Council of Economic Advisors (1981-1982). Jordan holds a PhD in economics from University of California at Los Angeles and a BA from California State University; he holds honorary doctorates from Universidad Francisco Marroquín, Denison University and Capital University.
