Thomas Spiegelhalter is an architect and industrial engineer that has realized research about fossil, solar and passive and low energy around Europe and the USA. He is the co-director of the Structures and Environmental Technologies lab at The Florida International University. He is also the owner and Principal at the Studio Thomas Spiegelhalter and Associates. During his conference he explains the work he has been doing regarding the sustainability master plan and in the consultancies about abandoned projects from the post-industrial architectures. He explains about the difference between the parametric modelling and parametric heuristics and how it will affect future architectural design around the world.
