Peter Boettke received an Honorary Doctoral Degree in Social Sciences from Universidad Francisco Marroquín in recognition of his talent, academic background, dissemination and passion for teaching economics. After his investiture, he expressed words of gratitude to the authorities of this university and then spoke to the graduating students on the importance of finding their own way, of becoming lifelong learners and keeping the books they read during their career because they will be a source of knowledge that can be seen from another perspective in the future.
