Advances in the medical world have enabled professionals in this area to improve the capability of investigation and analysis of previously unknown health issues. In this conference, Benedict S. Maniscalco elaborates on a very important disease that affects almost every human being: atherosclerosis. He explains how this disease enters the body, and shares what its symptoms, main characteristics, and problem diagnosis are. He also describes how recently discovered calcifying nanoparticles have a great incidence in the evolution of atherosclerosis, as well as how it affects the cardiovascular system. Through many clinical studies, Maniscalco has been able to identify the source of this problem and the efficient ways to prevent its appearance and progression.
