During the Ceremony for Honor Graduates at Universidad Francisco Marroquín, Peter J. Boettke was named honorary professor because of his important contribution to the teaching and dissemination of the Austrian economic ideas. In his speech, he talked about the importance of embracing the wonderful knowledge learned at UFM. He also motivated them to take seriously the liberal ideas and share them with friends, family and colleagues. As well, he mentioned the trajectory of Manuel F. Ayau and his struggle to eradicate poverty in Guatemala. Finally, he encouraged them to dream and work hard to achieve great things in proportion to their aspirations.
