Mina Merkel discusses how the roll of the teacher has changed in the classroom and has become a facilitator of learning for students, transforming the traditional paradigm of education. She comments the difference between the terms “professor” and “facilitator” and explains what a fertile environment for learning is. Merkel also talks about the importance of creating a setting where students can self-motivate. She shares her thoughts about extroverted and introvert students and the necessity to create activities for both type of learners.
